In the Aeronautics Industry, the margin for error is non-existent. Every component, from the smallest valve to large engine cylinders, must meet rigorous cleanliness standards to ensure flight safety and operational efficiency.
To meet these demands, we have developed a high-capacity, 4-tank ultrasonic cleaning system specifically engineered for the intensive cleaning of aeronautical cylinders. This automated solution combines chemical precision, mechanical power, and thermal control.
The 4-Stage Cleaning Architecture
A single wash is rarely enough for aerospace components. Our system utilizes a sequential process across four 300-liter tanks to ensure a pristine finish:
1. Ultrasonic Cleaning with Waterflow System
The process begins with a deep ultrasonic wash. The waterflow system is critical here; it creates a continuous movement that prevents contaminants from settling back onto the parts, ensuring that once the grease or carbon is removed, it stays away.
2. Hot Rinsing
The second stage involves a high-temperature rinse. This prepares the metal by removing residual cleaning agents and maintaining the component’s thermal energy for the subsequent stages.
3. Advanced Rinsing: US + DI Water
For aeronautical parts, “clean” isn’t enough—it must be “microscopically pure.” This tank combines Ultrasonics (US) with Deionized (DI) Water. The DI water ensures a spot-free finish, removing all mineral traces that could lead to corrosion or interfere with high-precision inspections.
4. Precision Drying at 100°C
The final stage is a dedicated drying tank. Equipped with a powerful blowing turbine, it operates at a constant 100°C—a specific temperature requested by our customer to ensure rapid evaporation and a moisture-free result, even in the most complex internal geometries of the cylinders.
Automation and Operator Safety TT – 4 x 300N Automatic
Efficiency in a modern factory depends on reducing manual handling. Our system features:
-
Automatic Transfer System: A sophisticated lift and transport mechanism that manages the vertical and horizontal movement of baskets between tanks.
-
Load/Unload Roller Tables: Simplifies the intake and exit of heavy cylinders.
-
Full Safety Fairing: The entire machine is enclosed in a safety housing, protecting operators from high temperatures and noise while maintaining a clean work environment.
